Maitraya Luxury Private Retreat

My wife and I hosted our wedding at Maitraya Estate and stayed at the main house for five nights, all in which we thoroughly enjoyed.Michael and Mandy were exceptionally accommodating and easy to deal with.We had a large marquee setup on the side of the main house, generators, toilets, catering and flower deliveries with Michael being heavily involved with coordinating.It was such a great property and would highly recommend it to anybody. The views go unrivalled. They are just spectacular!The grounds are well maintained with plenty to do either lakeside or oceanside. Plenty of balls, bikes, rods, pool toys and alike for kids also.The sauna, spa and pool were great.A large fridge for events was very helpful and I especially liked the fact it had a secluded wing with its own verandah, kitchen, laundry, family room and bathroom.The fully equipped theatre room with foxtel was also a winner.A great time.

Aviator cottage is the wors of the three houses that Maitraya offers, very disappointed, dirty, not luxurious at all, the bathroom is tiny, no bath and dishwasher, rats, cobwebs. Terrible.

First class all the way....what a wonder land. A must for 2 families or a group of friends.... fantastic location your own beach.

Good location. The view is magnificent.Managers Mandy and Michael are very friendly and polite people.The house was clean.We stay just weekend, but we be definitely back soonWe loved this place.

Fantastic place for a getaway, an unforgettable retreat that will leave you dreaming for more. The personal chef catering is superb also.

We stayed at Fisherman's Lodge in Feb 2020 in a group of six for our elopement. Mandy and Michael were lovely to deal with, and very accommodating. The view is stunning. Amazing places to visit only a short drive away, but so much to do at the property you don't even need to leave!

Unbeatable location. Get a group together and pretend you are a group of billionaires for the week. Words cannot do this place justice.

Very disappointing, not luxury or 'superbly appointed' at all, deceptive and misleading advertising regarding Fisherman's Lodge. Too many items broken and not working. Manager says 'owner reluctant to spend money on maintenance' and it shows. Not clean to a standard expected in this Covid-19 environment. I am seeking a full refund.

Amazing views, a hidden gem. Wonderful for an extended family getaway. We loved it.
